The site shares the research, writings, publications, and teaching activities of Brian Campbell and was initiated under the direction, and blessings, of Dr. Mark Dyczkowski (1951-2025), one of the world’s leading experts on tantric Śaivism and Kaula tantra. 

Brian is an initiated practitioner in multiple tantric traditions including Śrīvidyā and Trika Śaivism, and is passionate about Śaivism, Kaula tantra, and Indic religious traditions. The purpose of the site is to enhance spiritual practice through a deep understanding of the teachings, doctrines, and philosophies they are rooted in. 

Brian is also an academic research scholar who is actively working on recovering forgotten histories of Śrīvidyā and Kaula tantra in the Indic subcontinent. In his academic life, Brian earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley; a master’s degree from The University of Chicago; and continued as a Ph.D. student at the University of California, Davis for several years before becoming an adjunct faculty member in the Religious Studies Department at California State University, Sacramento. Currently working outside of the academy, Brian continues his research and writing.
